Stari Mlini ("Old Mills") occupies an 18th-century mill complex on the waterfront a few kilometres north of Kotor, at Ljuta, with tables on a stone terrace built over a spring-fed stream. The dining room is in a vaulted stone hall with the original mill wheel still in place behind a glass screen.
The menu is heavier than Mlini at Morinj — more meat, more sauces — but the wine list is one of the best in the country, with a serious selection of Vranac (Montenegro's signature red). A long Sunday lunch is the way to come.
