The Buća-Luković complex is one of Tivat's older architectural anchors, a stone house and defensive-looking tower associated with local noble families. It now serves as a museum and gallery, with exhibitions and cultural events rather than a vast permanent collection.
It is worth a short stop because Tivat has relatively little old architecture left in the centre. The contrast with Porto Montenegro is sharp: one speaks of bay families and Venetian-era habits, the other of contemporary coastal capital.
