The Island of Flowers, also called Miholjska Prevlaka, sits just off the Tivat shore and is connected to the mainland by a narrow causeway. It is small enough to cross in minutes, but it carries several layers: monastery ruins, modern monastic life, and the remains of a Yugoslav military holiday camp.
Do not expect manicured gardens despite the name. The appeal is quieter: church walls, pines, glimpses of the bay, and a slightly time-warped feel that contrasts with the clean marina to the north.
