Flakstad is for slow travel. The E10 runs the length of the municipality, but the rewards are in the side roads down to Nusfjord and Sund, the white-sand beach at Ramberg, the small craft workshops in Vikten, and the long walks across the outer coast from Fredvang. Two days are enough to see the highlights at a relaxed pace; longer if you intend to hike.
