Regalia of Norway

The Regalia of Norway are displayed in the Archbishop's Palace beside Nidaros Cathedral, the traditional coronation church of the Norwegian monarchy. The collection includes the king's and queen's crowns, sceptres, orbs, the sword of the realm, and the anointing horn.

It is a compact but important stop if you are visiting the cathedral precinct. The regalia help explain why Trondheim still matters so much in Norway's royal and church history.
