Rusalka Lake

Rusalka Lake is a small artificial lake northwest of central Poznan, with a beach, paths, and simple summer food stands. It is mainly a local recreation area, but it can be a worthwhile break if you want greenery without leaving the city.

The lake also has a darker history: it was built during the Second World War using forced labour. That context makes the place more than just a casual beach stop.
