Creiro Beach sits below the limestone hills of Arrábida Natural Park, west of Setúbal, with clear water and a sheltered feel that makes the coast here so popular. It is close to archaeological remains and other small coves, so it can be part of a full Arrábida day rather than just a swim.
In summer, access and parking can be controlled because the park's beaches are loved to the point of crowding. Go early, use public or seasonal transport where available, and treat the fragile slope-and-sea setting with more care than a normal town beach.
