Bolshoi Zlatoust (Great Zlatoust Church)

A 77-metre red-brick bell tower in the centre of the city, rebuilt in 2013 after the original was demolished by the Soviets in 1930. The current structure is a near-exact reproduction, with the heaviest bell in the Urals — over 16 tonnes — installed in the upper tier.

The interior is small but bright; the main attraction is the tower itself, which when viewed from the southern end of the City Pond gives a sense of how Yekaterinburg looked before the constructivist 1930s remade it.
