The Evangelical Church of Augsburg Confession is a 1930s Protestant church by Milan Michal Harminc, one of Slovakia's best-known modern architects. Its simple lines and pale facade make it a good contrast to the older churches around Žilina's historic centre.
It is a short walk west of Mariánske námestie and works best as part of a broader architecture walk, especially if you are already visiting the New Synagogue and Holy Trinity Cathedral.
