Right on the beach, Spiaggia ("Beach" in Italian) is the most directly situated of the waterfront bars — tables are set up in the sand during summer, and the bar is open from morning coffee through to late-evening cocktails. It functions as a cafe in the cooler parts of the day and shifts to a bar as the sun goes down. The view across the bay to Piran's campanile and the limestone hills behind is particularly good from here at sunset.
