Cordoba's bar scene is heavily focused on tapas and the local Montilla-Moriles wines — a fortified amontillado-style sherry that locals drink chilled by the glass. The thickest cluster is around Plaza de la Corredera and along Calle Lineros to the east of the Mezquita, with a string of older bodegas in the Judería itself. Things start late: pre-dinner drinks rarely begin before 9pm, and bars in the centre stay open well past midnight.
