Gate Rota

Gate Rota, often called Arch Creek, is the surviving gate of Jerez's old Muslim city wall. It is a modest remnant, but it gives a useful sense of the medieval edge of the city before the Christian reconquest reshaped Jerez.

The gate is best treated as part of an old-town walk rather than a destination on its own. Pair it with the Alcazar, the cathedral, and the remaining lanes of the historic centre.
