Torre del Mar's main beach is a broad strip of grey-gold sand running the full length of the town — about two kilometres — backed by the Paseo Marítimo. The beach is well maintained, lifeguarded in summer, and has pedalo and sunbed hire. It is wide enough that even at peak August it doesn't feel impossibly crowded. The water is calm, sheltered from Atlantic swells by the headlands to the west, and warm from June to October.
