Torre del Mar is 30 kilometres east of Málaga along the N-340 coastal road. Málaga airport is the nearest international hub, about 40 minutes by road (or via bus connection through Málaga city). Regular buses run from Málaga's bus station to Torre del Mar and Vélez-Málaga; the journey takes about 45 minutes.
There is no train service to Torre del Mar. By car, the A-7 motorway connects the area to Málaga (toll-free sections available) and to Almería to the east. Parking in Torre del Mar is mostly free outside of the central seafront zone in summer.
