Torre del Mar is small enough to walk end to end in 20 minutes. Local buses run frequently to Vélez-Málaga (4 km inland) and along the coast toward Nerja and Málaga. The N-340 coast road connects Torre del Mar to Málaga city (about 30 km west) and to Nerja (20 km east); taxis and hire cars are available. Cycling is practical on the flat seafront and promenade.
