The Church of St. Dominic of Guzman stands on the site of an earlier chapel and forms part of a historic Dominican convent complex. Most of the present church and convent date from the 16th and 17th centuries.
Inside, look for the long 20th-century fresco by Mariano de Cossio and Martinez-Fortun. The church is also associated with Amaro Pargo, the La Laguna-born privateer and merchant who is buried here.
