Ramnaparken is the largest of Borås's central parks — a pleasant landscaped green space on the west side of the city built around a small lake and the open-air museum of Ramna. The park is the usual place for summer concerts and outdoor events, and the surrounding paths along the Viskan river are popular with runners and cyclists.
The open-air museum (Ramnaparkens Friluftsmuseum) gathers a collection of historic wooden farm buildings from the surrounding province, relocated and restored to give a sense of pre-industrial life in the Sjuhärad region. Best on a sunny weekend afternoon when the buildings are open and there is often a market or a folk-music event under way.
