Hambergs operates the fish counter inside Saluhallen and a small lunch room behind it. The kitchen does one thing — Swedish fish cookery — and does it well. The fiskgryta (a creamy fish stew thick with potatoes and dill) is the signature dish, served with rye bread and aioli; the gravlax plate and the smoked salmon sandwich are equally reliable.
Service is quick and unfussy; you order at the counter and seat yourself at the long communal tables. Open lunchtimes only, Tuesday to Saturday. Reckon on around 200–250 SEK for a generous main with bread and water.
