Geneva's botanical garden brings together Alpine plants, trees, flower beds, and species from farther afield. The palm house adds tropical vegetation, while the northern part of the grounds includes a small zoo with birds and Alpine animals.
It works well as a quiet stop on the lakefront side of the city, especially if you are already visiting the nearby museums or the Palais des Nations.
