Nottingham Playhouse is one of the city's main cultural venues, opened in 1963 in a modern building by Peter Moro. It is worth noticing even outside performance times for its Grade II*-listed architecture and Anish Kapoor's Sky Mirror sculpture outside.
The main auditorium seats about 750, with a smaller studio space for more intimate productions.
