Trinity is a 300-seat theatre and arts centre housed in the former Holy Trinity Church, a fine Decimus Burton building of 1827. The church was deconsecrated in the 1970s and converted, keeping the soaring nave as the auditorium.
The programme is varied: touring drama, comedy, jazz, classical concerts and the long-running local Christmas pantomime. The cafe-bar in the former crypt makes a good place for a coffee even if you're not seeing a show.
