The national museum of arms and armour, housed in a purpose-built building on the waterfront at Clarence Dock. The collection spans over 3,000 years, from Bronze Age swords to modern firearms, arranged across five themed galleries covering war, hunting, tournaments, self-defence, and the Orient. Entry is free. Live demonstrations of jousting, sword fighting, and falconry run throughout the day.
