Venue Cymru is the main performing arts venue in north Wales — a 1,500-seat theatre and conference centre on the Llandudno seafront opposite the cricket ground. It opened in its current form in 2006 after a substantial rebuild of an earlier 1990 venue, and now hosts West End touring productions, opera, ballet, concerts and major children's shows.
The auditorium is conventional in its layout but unusually well-equipped for a regional venue, with a large fly tower that allows full-scale touring productions. The complex also includes a smaller studio theatre, two cinema screens, a year-round programme of conferences and trade fairs, and a beachfront restaurant.
The venue is on the promenade about two-thirds of the way along the bay from the pier, and is easily walkable from anywhere in central Llandudno.
