☰Inner Harbour

The natural amphitheatre at the heart of the city, where seaplanes land in front of the Parliament Buildings and the ferry from Port Angeles ties up across from the Empress. The waterfront causeway is the city's promenade — buskers, totem carvers, horse-drawn carriages — and almost every major sight is a short walk from it. Come back at night when the Parliament dome is lit up and the harbour reflects the lights.
