A tropical greenhouse near Brentwood Bay where hundreds of butterflies, moths and tropical birds drift around at head height while you walk the paths. The collection includes blue morphos, owl butterflies and the occasional flamingo; small cases of pupae let you watch new butterflies emerging. It is a short detour from Butchart Gardens and easy to combine with a single trip out to the Saanich Peninsula.
