Mount Tolmie Park is one of Greater Victoria's easiest viewpoints, rising just enough above Saanich to open broad views across the city and water. On a clear day you can pick out the Olympic Mountains, Mount Baker, and the surrounding neighborhoods without committing to a long hike.
The summit can be reached by road, while short trails loop around the hill for those who want a walk. It is especially useful near sunset or at the start of a visit, when the view helps make sense of Victoria's geography.
