Hartwell's Lockstation is a quiet pair of Rideau Canal locks beside Carleton University and the Central Experimental Farm. It makes an easy canal-side walk, with paths continuing toward Dow's Lake or west toward the farm and the Canada Agriculture and Food Museum.
