☰Marina Park Waterfront

The north side waterfront (Port Arthur) has been cleaned up into a pleasant park running along the lake, with views across the bay to the Sleeping Giant. There is a small harbour, a bandshell that hosts summer concerts, and the surrounding streets have Thunder Bay's best concentration of restaurants and bars. A good place to orient yourself when you first arrive — the view explains the city's geography better than any map.
