Camp Bay is a long, undeveloped beach near the eastern tip of Roatán, about an hour's drive from West End on the increasingly rough road past French Harbour and Punta Gorda. There is no resort, almost no infrastructure, a couple of simple beach restaurants, and on most days more pelicans than people.
The water is calmer than at West Bay (reef offshore breaks the swell), and the sand is wider. The drive is the price of admission — and is part of the appeal. Bring water and snacks; bring a four-wheel-drive if you have it.
