A small public beach at Punta Cancun, where the Hotel Zone bends from facing north to facing east. The water is sheltered, calm, and good for swimming or kayaking — there are usually rental operators along the sand. The location is unbeatable for a few hours' beach time without committing to the full Delfines or Tortugas expedition: it is a five-minute walk from the Forum mall and most of the Punta Cancun nightlife.
Access is via a small public footpath between the Hyatt and the Park Royal hotels — easy to miss. Once on the sand it is open public beach, despite occasional confused hotel staff. The R1 bus drops you on the boulevard above.
