The Puebla Teleferico is a short cable-car ride above the northeast side of the historic city, linking the area around the forts with elevated views across Puebla's tiled domes and gridded streets. On clear days the volcanoes make the backdrop much more impressive.
It is not a long attraction, but it is a useful way to understand the city's setting after walking the centre. Combine it with the forts, the Museo de la Evolucion area, or a late-afternoon viewpoint stop when the light is better for photos.
