Woodbrook is the neighbourhood immediately west of the Queen's Park Savannah, and it is where Port of Spain's restaurant and nightlife scene lives. Ariapita Avenue is the main drag — lined with bars, restaurants, and rum shops — and on weekends it gets busy enough to feel like a proper street party. The neighbourhood also hosts many of the Carnival-related events in the weeks leading up to the festival.
