A working harbor a few miles south of downtown, with a mix of fishing boats, pleasure craft, and a small shopping village. The Ventura Harbor Village has seafood restaurants and casual shops along the water. It's also where Island Packers departs for Channel Islands National Park — the visitor center is right here and worth a stop even if you're not taking the ferry.
