A rotating outdoor sculpture exhibition installed along the median and side streets of El Paseo, refreshed every two years through the city's public art programme. Twenty or so large-scale works by contemporary American sculptors are sited along the boulevard, ranging from abstract steel to figurative bronze, with a printed map and audio tour available at the kiosk in front of the Gardens on El Paseo.
It is one of the better free things to do in the valley, and gives a reason to walk the length of El Paseo that has nothing to do with shopping. Best done in early morning or after sunset in summer.
