Things to Do

West Palm Beach packs more into its small downtown than its reputation suggests. The Norton Museum of Art is the headline draw, with a serious Asian and 20th-century American collection in a building partly designed by Norman Foster. Just south, the Ann Norton Sculpture Gardens occupy a Spanish-revival house and seven acres of tropical garden filled with massive brick monoliths. Downtown, the Kravis Center is the cultural anchor and Clematis Street the main walking and dining strip. Twenty minutes west, Lion Country Safari is one of the original drive-through wildlife parks in the United States.
