Louisiana State Exhibit Museum is one of Shreveport's more distinctive museums, housed in a circular Art Deco building from the late 1930s. Inside, large dioramas and exhibits present Louisiana history, agriculture, industry, and regional culture in a period museum style.
The building and old-fashioned display approach are part of the draw. It is a good stop for travellers interested in regional identity, New Deal-era public architecture, or a deeper Shreveport itinerary.
