The Casa de las Culturas is the main provincial cultural centre, a couple of blocks south of Plaza 25 de Mayo. The building is a converted early-20th-century townhouse with a sequence of high-ceilinged exhibition rooms running off a central courtyard.
The programme rotates: contemporary painting and photography from across Argentina, occasional folk-art shows from the Wichí and Qom indigenous communities of the Chaco, and a small permanent display on the cultural history of the province. Free, with weekday and Saturday afternoon openings.
