The Museo de Bellas Artes René Brusau is the province's main fine-arts museum, named for the Chaco-born painter René Brusau and housed in a renovated period building near the centre. The permanent collection focuses on 20th-century Argentine painting, with a particularly strong holding of the Chaco school of regional realism.
Temporary exhibitions run roughly every two months. Worth combining with a visit to the Fogón de los Arrieros for a fuller picture of the local art world.
