Igreja Matriz de Nossa Senhora do Bom Sucesso

The parish church facing the central square of Guaratuba, built in the late nineteenth century in a plain colonial style — whitewashed walls, twin square towers, a red-tile roof. The square in front is the social heart of the town and the best spot for an afternoon ice cream or an evening cold beer at one of the surrounding bars.

The church is usually open during the day; the interior is straightforward, with a painted ceiling above the nave.
