Morro do Escalvado is a 262-metre hill covered in native vegetation. Trails lead to the summit, where the reward is a broad view over the beaches and coastal plain around Matinhos and Guaratuba.
It is a straightforward hiking and viewpoint stop, best saved for clear weather.
