A small rock grotto at the western end of the beach, with a statue of the Virgin of Lourdes set into the cliff above a freshwater spring. The water is drinkable and considered miraculous by local pilgrims, who arrive in numbers on saints' days and especially on 11 February, the feast of Our Lady of Lourdes.
The setting is shaded and quiet, and even outside the pilgrimage days it is a pleasant fifteen-minute walk along the beach from the town centre.
