Palacio Inka del Kusikancha preserves the remains of an Inca palace associated with Pachakuti Inka Yupanki, the 15th-century ruler who reshaped Cuzco and the Inca state. The ruins sit in the city center, where Inca walls and later colonial layers are packed tightly together.
The site is most interesting for its stonework and for the way it makes old Cuzco's urban plan visible at street level. It pairs naturally with Qorikancha, only a short walk away.
