Cuzco's core sights divide between the Inca ruins on the hills above town and the colonial buildings built directly on Inca foundations in the city centre. The Qorikancha is the must-see combination: Inca stonework with a Spanish monastery on top. The Cusco Cathedral dominates the Plaza de Armas. Further out, Tambomachay and Q'enqo are stops on the circuit of Inca sites ringing the city.
