Cinema Roma

A 1937 cinema on Harnet Avenue, more modest in scale than the Impero but with one of the most elegant Art Deco facades in town: a curving canopy, vertical fins, and a smaller original neon sign over the entrance. The interior auditorium is largely intact, with terrazzo lobby floors and a deep balcony.

The Cinema Roma still operates intermittently. The café at the front is a fine spot for a sundowner, with terrace tables facing the avenue.
