Khiber Quarter

Khiber climbs the northern hill from the main square. Its lanes are narrow, often stepped, and frequently end in a private courtyard or a wall — the town was built for pilgrims and donkeys, not cars. Houses are whitewashed with painted doors and arched windows, and the views across to Tasga and out over the plains improve with every turn of the path. There are a few small guesthouses tucked away in restored houses near the top, plus the Terrasse Sidi Abdallah viewpoint.

It is one of the more relaxed medinas in Morocco — you'll meet few hustlers, and getting briefly lost is part of the experience.
