Yanggong Causeway runs along the western side of Hangzhou's West Lake, linking gardens, ponds, bridges, and quieter waterside views. It is less iconic than Su Causeway, but often more relaxed, with a greener, more spacious feel.
Walk or cycle it when you want West Lake without staying only on the busiest postcard route. The causeway pairs well with nearby gardens, the tea museum area, and slow detours into the lake's western wetlands.
