A 600-metre arc of golden sand 10 kilometres north of the town, sheltered between two limestone headlands. The water shelves gently and stays calm even when the rest of the coast is rough, which is why families flock here. Loungers, pedalos and a row of beach bars line the back of the sand.
Coral Bay (Kolpos ton Korallion) gets crowded in July and August. Off-season it is one of the more pleasant places to swim on the south-west coast.
