Anand Mahal is a former royal residence in Bijapur, built as a private retreat for the ruler and queen. The name means "palace of pleasure", though the building now houses government offices.
It is mainly an exterior architecture stop, best seen while walking between the nearby Adil Shahi monuments around the old citadel.
