Jod Gumbaz

Twin domed tombs of two Adil Shahi officers, side by side

A pair of identical domed tombs ("Jod" means "twin") standing side by side at the south end of the city. They hold the remains of two Adil Shahi officials — Abdul Razzaq Qadri and Khan Muhammad. Built around 1687, the tombs are smaller than the royal monuments but well preserved, with handsome stucco detail on the domes and minarets.

A quiet site, generally empty. The adjacent compound is open and the grounds make a good place to sit. Free.
