Coorg is best treated as a landscape rather than a town. The main pull is the coffee estates and the cool, misty hills; the standout sights are mostly waterfalls, viewpoints, and a few unusual temples and monasteries. Distances are short on the map but slow on the road — count two hours for what looks like a 40km drive.
